Activities
If you choose to spend some extra vacation days celebrating with us, we have a few local recommendations:
Eats
Definitely add a visit to Big Oak to your Crystal Coast bucket list. The shrimp burger is to die for.
A Seidel family favorite. You can’t go wrong with anything on this menu.
Great spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner. You may catch us here indulging in chicken & waffles for Sunday morning brunch.
Another Seidel family favorite! We recommend the Alambre Texano, Burritos Mexicanos and ACP, with a jumbo margarita.
Drinks
Pop in to the Growler for a cold beer, or stay a while and enjoy playing cornhole and mingling with locals.
We love the upscale vibe of Caribsea’s rooftop bar! Great place to enjoy a cocktail.
Kathryn’s is the go-to for martinis on the Island, with over 30 martinis to choose from alongside an extensive wine list.
Activities
Best way to spend a rainy day.
There's no better way to explore the island than by bicycle.
There are many putt-putt options on the Island but take our word for it that Lost Treasure Golf is undoubtedly the best.
Beaufort is a historic waterfront town about 15 miles from Indian Beach with shops & restaurants and pirate-themed excursions aplenty.
For those new to North Carolina, it is well worth your while to take a drive (or ferry) up the Outer Banks and see all that the NC coast has to offer.
